Alaska Cruise: Day 7, Victoria

Weather: sunny, temperature 18 degree Celsius. Sunrise 5:26, Sunset 21:08
Today is our last day, tomorrow we will be back at Seattle and disembark the ship. So far we have wonderful days without any rains.

Alaska Cruise: Day 6, Ketchikan

Weather: Cloudy/sunny, temperature 17 degree Celsius. Sunrise 4:12, Sunset 20:59
Today is cloudy so we can feel a bit cold. Ketchikan is salmon city, let's explore any interesting things that this city have.

The city is right there just we got off from the ship

We booked Duck Tour so it is possible to see the city from both land and sea

After the Duck Tour we walked around. The city is not big and the weather also is getting sunnier.

Salmons ladder. During salmon season, you can see salmons climb this ladder to go upstream and lay their eggs.

It is time to change your clock to Pacific Standard Time again. It means our cruise is almost finish. Tomorrow we will arrive at our last port of call, Victoria at British Columbia, Canada.

Alaska Cruise: Day 5, Glacier Bay

Weather: Sunny, temperature 16 degree Celsius. Sunrise 4:08, Sunset 21:36
Today is scenic cruise in to Glacier Bay. This is the place for many glaciers, wild life including whales, sea otters, etc.
And thank you God again, today you give us with another beautiful day. They said during cloudy or rainy days, sometimes you couldn't see anything in Glacier Bay.

The ice was calving. The calving was not so big, actually I hoped for bigger one with tremendous sound :).

Glacier Bay is home for many birds. This bird is Black-legged Kittiwake with thousands population here. But now scientists are worry as their numbers are not increasing.
